He has a professional experience of over 40 years (both in Pakistan and Overseas) in the fields of banking, sales & marketing, production management, and financial management.
He started his career with Habib Bank Foreign Exchange and worked with Exxon Chemical (now Engro) for over 10 years. His overseas assignments have included ventures with Germany-based VEBA Group of Companies as well as International Coating Products (a Saudi-Swedish joint venture).
He is a Business graduate from Karachi University; a member of the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan and a member of the 21st Century Business & Economics Club.

Nayyar Haider joined government service in 1972 and retired as Federal Secretary (Ministry of Labor and Manpower) in December 2009. His 37 years of pubic sector service provided him with an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the matters of management, governance, administration and policy formulation.He has extensive experience in handling and overseeing the management and performance of at least a dozen commercial entities; contributing his sound academic background and experience to assist in the reorganization of the businesses. Faizan Abbasi possesses over 40 years of management experience in Shipping. He has held several key positions in Logistics Management and the shipping industry including a senior position at Gokal Shipping – of the largest Shipping Companies in Pakistan. He is a Maritime Economist having gained his academic training in Europe.
